YOU gotta roll with it, Liam.
Here’s rock legend Liam Gallagher enjoying his new favourite oasis at Sandbanks, Poole, on a family holiday.
The 38-year-old left wife Nicole Appleton and the kids behind for a quiet cycle ride across Studland by himself.
Eagle-eyed Mike Lavelle spotted the Britpop star as he got ready to leave the Sandbanks chain ferry.
Mr Lavelle said: “I was just down there taking some snaps of yachts and the view, when I saw him pushing his bike.
“Someone told me afterwards that John Lennon was pictured getting off there too. I know Liam idolises Lennon and his work so he might like the association.
“I liked Oasis. I haven’t heard much of Liam’s new stuff, but I’d say I’m a fan of his.”
Sandbanks residents had spied Liam, the former All Saints star sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton and Natalie’s husband Liam Howlett, singer with The Prodigy, in various hotspots during their Dorset break. The rockstar family were rumoured to be looking for properties during their stay at the Harbour Heights hotel.
Liam’s idol John Lennon was a regular in the area, having bought a bungalow at Panorama Road, Sandbanks, for his Aunt Mimi in 1965.
In 2004, the Daily Echo reported on the discovery of a picture taken in 1967 of Lennon, his four-year-old son Julian and Aunt Mimi stepping off the chain ferry at the same spot where Gallagher was snapped recently.
