HE normally has his own Star Destroyer, but sometimes he’s seen at a Dorset bus stop.

And although he doesn’t like to talk about it, the Dark Lord of the Sith does a lot for charity.

Lord Vader – alias Daniel Westney-Bedward – will be guest of honour when Laser Quest Bournemouth devotes a day of fun to a good cause.

Daniel is used to turning heads when he entertains children at the occasional Laser Quest children’s party, or when he travels to work by bus in his cape and helmet.

On Tuesday June 14, from noon-10pm, Laser Quest, in Glen Fern Road, will be raising money for ShelterBox, which provides shelter to those affected by disasters such as the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

Games will cost £4 instead of the normal £5.95 and half the money will go to the charity.

Dave Arnell, of Laser Quest, said: “Darth Vader will be there to join in with the games and have his picture taken by everyone.”
