DORSET & Wilts successfully defended the County Championship Shield with a 43-22 victory over Surrey at Twickenham today.
Winners in last year’s final against Leicestershire, they repeated the feat following a superb second-half performance.
Surrey led in the early stages but Dorset & Wilts scored no fewer than six tries to eventually emerge comfortable victors.
Bournemouth players Frazer Wilford and Scott Chislett were among the scorers, as was Wimborne back Lewis Warner.
