TWO people escaped when a microlight crashed on landing at Compton Abbas Airfield on Sunday morning.
Police, firefighters and ambulance personnel were called at 11am.
A spokesman for Dorset police said there were two people on board – the pilot was uninjured and the passenger was taken to hospital by air ambulance with non life-threatening injuries.
The Air Accident Investigation Branch had been notified, added the spokesman.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said the microlight hit the ground at low speed and turned onto its roof.
Firefighters helped to right it and also stemmed fuel leaks.
