A DANCER from Corfe Mullen, booted out of Britain’s Got Talent semi-finals on Monday, says the only way is up for her dance troupe.

ITV judge Simon Cowell was so impressed with Nicola Wills’ Girls Roc group that he has asked them to perform at his birthday party.

After watching the girls’ routine in the first live semi-final, Simon said: “I thought it was fantastic.”

He added: “There’s nothing missing.

“You were blowing fire, snakes and dancing.

“Do you do home shows?

“I would book you for my birthday party next year.”

But the seven girls, dressed in glittery leotards, failed to win the phone-in vote with their dance to the Eurythmics’ Sweet Dreams.

They lost out on a place in the final to 12-year-old singer Ronan Parke and pianist Paul Gbegibaje.

Former Corfe Hills pupil Nicola told the Daily Echo: “We’re so gutted to be out, but that’s just the way it goes.

“The British public never seem to get behind girls.

“We’re really grateful for the experience though.

“We absolutely loved it.”

The 26-year-old, who has been in West End shows and a backing dancer for Katy Perry and Pink, hopes Simon will follow up his on-screen comment and book Girls Roc to dance at his birthday bash.

“It’s onward and upward for us now,” she said. “The show has given us a platform.

“Performing for Simon Cowell’s birthday party would be amazing.

“Just that one job puts us in a calibre that we could never have got to before.”
