Kingsleigh Primary School has received a thumbs up from government inspectors following their latest visit.
They said the school was making good progress and students’ attainment was rising.
Kingsleigh, in Hadow Road, West Howe, Bournemouth, was graded satisfactory in its last full Ofsted inspection last year, so inspectors regularly monitor its progress.
The latest visit coincided with Red Nose Day and inspectors praised the efforts of the children to raise money for those less fortunate than themselves with a variety of activities.
The school also recently held a successful street party to celebrate the royal wedding on April 29.
Head teacher Richard Gower said: “Our school continues to improve rapidly and our children enjoy learning in an exciting environment, taught by enthusiastic, skilled teachers.
“Personally, I was delighted that the inspector recognised the importance of Red Nose Day. Kingsleigh Primary School is certainly going places and has many reasons to be proud of itself.”
