THE south coast will host a new music festival this September when Musicosity Bournemouth makes it debut.
The first of its kind in the town, the festival will take place at multiple venues, including O2 Academy Bournemouth and The Old Fire Station, over the first weekend of the month.
“The event will kickstart the live touring season and give thousands of music lovers, residents and visitors to the area the chance to discover more live music,” says Justine Fancy of the O2 Academy, Bournemouth.
“With over 50 acts playing at various venues across three days, Musicosity Festival will showcase established artists alongside new and emerging talent, and offers opportunities for up and coming musicians from across the region.”
September 3 sees a headline set from surf rockers Reef, who will play at the O2 Academy.
Other artists confirmed to appear over the weekend include Not Advised, ThePeteBox, Checking Pulse, Friends Electric, We Start Partys, Hero, Amy Can Flyy, Streebeck, Death of an Artist, Benjamin Francis Leftwich and many more.
