THIS Sunday, Champions in Bournemouth will open its doors for a one off celebration of art, music, fashion, poetry and film.

Dubbed Tell and Show, the live music venue will play host to some of the town’s hottest local talent as well as welcoming acts from further afield.

The evening will feature performances from Bournemouth electro funk outfit, Momo:Tempo, and the legendary Funky Little Choir Company, whose repertoire includes The Beatles, Radiohead and Stevie Wonder.

There will be a performance from Manchunian electro act, Shmoor, and an acoustic set from Adam Dupree.

Little Orphan Boy will be providing the poetry while White Lantern Film will be previewing their exciting new documentary, Drying For Freedom; a film about our right to protect the planet and how a community in America have been prevented from doing so thanks to a ban on drying their clothes outdoors.

Bournemouth clothing company, Left and Right will unveil their latest fashion range and there will be live art coming courtesy of Moon Street.

“On a daily basis we work with such fantastic creative talent in Bournemouth and we wanted to put on an event to showcase artists, performers, singers and beyond,” says event organiser Suzy Wheeler.

“The event is for all ages with something for everyone.”

Hosted by Momo (aka Timo Peach) the event costs £3 and kicks off at 7pm.

“Tell and Show promises to be a jolly serious celebration of original live music and a little riot of art,” says Timo.

“It’s an excuse to shout about the creative work going on all over Bournemouth – I can't wait.”
