THREE years of hard work came to a spectacular end when graduates put on a dazzling performance at Bournemouth’s Pavilion Dance.
Exit Stage Left showcased the work of School of Performance students from the Arts University College Bournemouth and delighted teachers, friends, families and school children.
The unique piece of contemporary theatre was created by students from three courses – the BA Hons Costume with Performance Design, BA Hons Acting and FdA Make Up for Media and Performance.
They took part in a total of four performances on Thursday and yesterday.
More than 150 students took part and it included pieces from the year’s productions, including Ship of Fools and Coyote was Going There, as well as new material.
The idea of the show was to emulate the way in which the creative industries work together and to let students experience live production to prepare them for careers in the industry.
Production director and course leader for acting, Doug Cockle, said: “Exit Stage Left signifies the culmination of two or three years of hard study for our talented students and, for many of them, will signify the start of a professional career upon graduation next month.
“Our students have worked tirelessly on this production and the end result is certainly one that thrilled and delighted our audiences.”
