POLICE investigating the death of Emily Longley want information about two teenagers seen “acting suspiciously” the night she died.
The 17-year-old, who moved to Bournemouth from New Zealand, was found dead at a bungalow in Queenswood Avenue on Saturday, May 7, following a night out.
A 19-year-old man and a 17-year-old youth from Bourne-mouth were arrested and released on police bail.
Officers yesterday searched a copse almost opposite the bungalow.
It is around half the size of a football pitch and contains an electricity substation and two benches. Neighbours said it is used by dog walkers.
Inspector Neil Devoto, senior investigating officer from the Major Crime Investigation Team, said: “We’re extending our enquiries to a wooded area between Queenswood Avenue and Copsewood Avenue, Queens Park.
“We’re asking for information about two men des-cribed as in their late teens seen acting suspiciously in that area around 6pm the evening before she died.”
Police last month appealed to anyone with information about any drugs Emily may have taken.
A spokesman said yesterday: “The toxicology report has proved negative at this stage.
“Nothing has been found in her body which would cause her death, but tests are ongoing.”
Emily was born in London and her parents moved to New Zealand. She returned to the UK last year after she fell in with the wrong crowd.
She came to live with her grandparents in Dingle Road, Southbourne. She studied at Brockenhurst College and also had a part-time job in Topshop in Bournemouth town centre.
Her parents Caroline and Mark flew back to England after receiving the news.
