POPULAR piano maestro, Jools Holland, will play a picnic concert at Sherborne Castle this summer, just a week after his appearance at the Larmer Tree Festival. The boogie woogie legend will arrive at Sir Walter Raleigh’s former residence on July 23 with his 17-piece Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.
“If you have something where people can bring a picnic then it’s much more enjoyable,” says Jools of the family friendly festival.
“Have your cheese and pickle sandwiches, have a drink and dance around.”
Tickets for the concert cost £35 and gates open at 5pm.
