TWO Dorset MPs have won their fight for a public meeting on the Canford Bottom roundabout plans.
Annette Brooke, MP for Mid-Dorset and North Poole, and Christchurch MP Chris Chope appealed to the transport secretary’s office to get the Highways Agency to meet with residents about the £2.7 million project.
Engineers are expected to start work on overhauling the bottleneck in early September.
More than 200 people took part in a public consultation on the proposed designs, which will be on show at St Michael’s Church in Colehill, on Monday, July 18, and at St Mary’s Church, Ferndown, on Thursday, July 21.
The public meeting starts at 7pm in the Barrington Centre, Ferndown, on Friday, July 29.
