CONCERNS are mounting in Bearwood as a traveller encampment shows no sign of disbanding.
Four caravans, two tents and other vehicles moved on to the site – known locally as Lionheart Field – on Friday evening.
Residents in Lionheart Close, King Richard Drive and Crusader Road all back on to the traveller site.
A resident said: “Nothing is being done to help or reassure the local residents.”
Borough of Poole principal officer Nick Hill said: “Council officers visited the site and will continue to regularly monitor the situation to ensure the area is maintained.”
• Around 10 caravans moved into the car park at Ferndown Leisure Centre over the weekend. Ferndown Town Council officials said they had received numerous complaints of anti-social behaviour and that legal proceedings to evict the group had started.
