A NEW campaign to bring attention to the plight of homeless people is to be launched with a flash mob in Bournemouth Square next Friday.
Members of the public are being asked to lie down for five minutes in the area between the Obscura Café and Bourne Avenue at 12.30pm.
The event will highlight the situation faced by those who have nowhere safe to sleep and help the BCHA launch its Sleep Safe Campaign.
Money raised by the campaign will support the work of St Paul’s Night Shelter in Bournemouth, which provides a safe place to sleep for around 500 people each year.
