CROWDS flocked to Bournemouth beach on Sunday as the sun returned to the Dorset coast.
After a foggy and cloudy start summer made a welcome comeback after weeks of so-so weather – and sun-worshippers wasted no time in making the most of it.
If forecasters are to be believed it heralded the start of a heatwave this week for the south. The Met Office is warning elderly and vulnerable people to take care as temperatures could peak at 32 degrees centigrade today.
