A 33-YEAR-OLD man is due to appear in court next month in connection with the deaths of a London couple who died following a collision at Sandbanks, Poole.
Jonathan Edward Arthur Knowles, of Randolph Avenue, London, is charged with two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, failing to supply a breath specimen and causing grievous bodily harm.
A plea and case management hearing scheduled for Bournemouth Crown Court on Monday was postponed.
Knowles is now due to appear in court on August 12.
Alan and Rochelle Bernard died after being involved in a collision with a £60,000 Mercedes on Banks Road, near the junction with Salter Road, at around 10.30pm on September 11 last year.
An inquest heard the couple had died from multiple injuries.
