A ROBBER stole cash from a newsagent’s after brandishing a knife in a raid on Friday afternoon.
Police were called to Jas News and Booze in Poole Road, Branksome, after the 4.30pm incident.
A spokesman for Dorset Police said the robber took out a knife before making demands for cash.
The man then left the shop and headed off along Bourne Valley Road on a purple mountain bike.
The culprit is described as white, in his late teens or early twenties and 6ft tall.
He wore a black jacket, grey hooded top and blue jeans.
Detectives are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
