BOSS Lee Bradbury will run the rule over a trio of trialists when Cherries kick off their pre-season campaign at Hamworthy Recreation tonight (6.30pm).
Wingers Jordace Holder-Spooner and Ivan Forbes will be joined by attacking midfielder Sofiane Choubani as Bradbury fields two teams at Magna Road.
Every fit member of Cherries’ first-team squad is expected to play some part with Bradbury likely to make sweeping changes at the interval.
Holder-Spooner joined Cherries for the start of pre-season training following his release by Southampton. The 18-year-old was invited back after impressing Bradbury during a couple of run-outs in friendlies last season.
Forbes turned out in the Conference South for Dorchester and Havant & Waterlooville and is currently playing in his native Portugal.
Choubani has been capped at under-20 level by France and was on the books at Nantes. He has been recommended to Bradbury by Mathieu Baudry’s agent Steve Wood, the ex-Southampton defender.
Bradbury told the Daily Echo: “They all come highly recommended and you never know unless you look at these players. You could unearth a gem somewhere along the line.”
Expanding on his reasons for bringing back Holder-Spooner, Bradbury added: “He is raw but quick and strong and has got two good feet. He has got something.”
Bradbury has also invited Ellis Harris to train with Cherries next week. The teenage winger is currently on the books at Welsh outfit Afan Lido.
Admission to Magna Road is £5 for adults and £2 for under-18s and additional car parking will be available at Canford Arena.
