TESCO stores across the area will be holding a collection all week in memory of Red Arrow pilot Jon Egging.
From large supermarkets to the smaller Express shops, 30 Tesco stores from Poole, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Ferndown will be collecting money to pass onto the Red Arrows Charitable Trust.
The collection will continue until Sunday and from there the Trust will use the money according to the family’s wishes.
On Saturday, staff in all stores will dress in red in tribute to Flt Lt Egging.
Jan Gould, community champion at Tesco in Branksome, said: “Everyone loves seeing the Red Arrows and we just wanted to make it easy for people to donate and help contribute towards a fitting memorial.”
