A SHRINE to Flt Lt Jon Egging now marks the spot where the Red Arrows pilot lost his life.
A line of bunting, floral tributes, letters and poems have been placed on the side of the river bank opposite where the jet came to rest.
A bottle of Becks lager and two candles have also been left by people wishing to pay their respects to Flt Lt Egging.
Throop resident Stephen Young said: “A couple of lads put the bunting up on Friday evening and it has been added to.
“It is a touching tribute and people like to express their grief,” he added.
