MOD contractors and RAF officials continued work at the crash site clearing away potentially polluted land.
The final pieces of the wreckage were removed from the crash site on Thursday and footpath closures surrounding the field were lifted.
The Red 4 jet was taken to Boscombe Down aircraft testing site at Idmiston in Wiltshire.
Yesterday a number of vehicles remained on the field and a digger was seen removing soil and placing it in another vehicle.
A spokesman from the Military Investigation Branch said the activity was ‘part of the investigation and clearing the post crash site’.
