TICKETS are still available for the Bournemouth Tourism Awards 2011, which will take place at the Bournemouth International Centre’s Tregonwell Hall on Thursday December 1.

Billed as a fun celebration evening, bosses are being urged to treat their employees to a great pre-Christmas night out, which includes a meal and entertainment.

And there’s still time to nominate your favourites to receive awards in the sixth annual event.

The awards will be presented in 12 categories and will celebrate the achievements of the resort’s travel and tourism industry.

Categories are Best Evening Experience of the Year, Best Shopping Experience of the Year, Contribution to International Education and Conference and Business Experience of the Year, Large/Medium Sized Hotel of the Year, Outstanding Contribution to Tourism, Outstanding Customer Service of the Year and Self-catering and Camping and Caravanning Establishment of the Year.

There are also categories for Small Hotel/Guest Accommodation Hotel of the Year, Restaurant/Bistro of the Year, Tourism Attraction of the Year, Tourism Marketing Initiative of the Year and Transport initiative of the Year.

Tickets for the awards cost £57.50 each and include a drinks reception, three-course meal with wine and entertainment until 1am. They are available from bournemouth.co.uk.
