DETECTIVES want information after a burglary in Queen’s Park, Bournemouth.
A man forced entry into a house along St Alban’s Road and stole jewellery, an iPad, a games console and a diamond ring.
The incident happened around 3pm on Thursday, January 5, though police only appealed for information about it yesterday.
Detective Constable Martin Farrington, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I understand that this man called at a neighbour’s house at around 2.30pm earlier that afternoon, only to make vague excuses to the occupants when they answered the door.
“I would urge anyone who recognises this man to contact me as soon as possible.
“This man is black, aged over 30 years, around 6ft tall, of a slim build and with a long face. He was wearing dark clothing.”
Anyone with information can call Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident 11:48, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
