MOORS Valley Country Park will be seen in a whole new light during the February half term when it will be transformed into an interactive night-time adventure playground.
Culture Creative, together with the Forestry Commission, will light up the forest between February 11 and 19 to provide a display of illuminated illustrations and interactive playscapes. There will be a family friendly trail which will be open between 6.30pm and 9pm and will take around an hour to complete.
Zoe Bottrell, produce and project manager at Culture Creative, said: “The imaginative and fun trail will offer something for everyone, with illuminated play areas, interactive mythophones and a fabulous tree top walkway that will allow visitors to see the forest from every which way possible.”
Tickets for The Electric Forest event are £15.50 per adult and £10 for children aged 5-16 and other concessions. A family ticket for two adults and two children is £41. Under 5s go free.
