FIRE: There are plenty of events celebrating the start of the Chinese Year of the Dragon
A LANTERN festival to celebrate the start of the Chinese Year of the Dragon has begun with a display at Bournemouth Library.
There will also be New Year celebrations from 1pm to 3pm on Saturday at the Dolphin Centre in Poole; plus the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe on Saturday, February 11; at Castlepoint shopping centre on Sunday 12; and finally at the Bishop of Winchester School in Bournemouth from noon on Sunday 26.
Bournemouth Library has an adult tai-chi workshop and demonstration from 1pm to 3pm on Monday, February 13.
A dragon procession will be leaving the Town Hall at noon on Tuesday, February 14 and making its way to the library for a special performance which will take place at 1pm.
