WORKERS were evacuated from a Bournemouth town centre office block on Monday lunchtime after an electrical fire.
Four fire engines, along with an aerial ladder, were called to the building in Dean Park Crescent at 1.15pm. The road was closed to traffic while firefighters investigated the incident.
Dorset Fire and Rescue Service station manager, Neil Rickett, said the fire was on the ground floor of the five-storey building and it appeared it started with a faulty electrical intake cable running into the building.
