David Atkinson
THE funeral of former Bournemouth East MP David Atkinson will be held in the town on Monday February 20.
The service will be at Corpus Christi Church in Boscombe at noon.
Family flowers only but donations can be made to Macmillan Caring Locally care of Deric-Scott Funeral Directors at Portman Lodge Funeral Home, 755 Christchurch Road, Boscombe BH7 6AN.
Mr Atkinson died on January 22, aged 71.
He left a son, Anthony, and also a daughter, Katie.
He was Conservative MP for Bournemouth East from a 1977 by-election until 2005.
