Councils have been asked to come up with potential sites by the government and Park Road at Bournemouth’s Lansdowne is the only one in the town shortlisted.

The first round of consultation ended on February 10.
Christchurch council has announced that the local authority is proposing to remove Grange Road depot from its list of potential travellers’ sites, leaving just one possible site at Dudmoor Farm Road.
Councillors will consider a report at their full council meeting next month. Planning agent Raymond Silverthorne, who represents the Trustees of the Bournemouth Meeting Room Trust, said: “The Trustees wish to point out that the proposed use would be inappropriate development of valuable green belt land.”
