Poole’s sandy beaches have scored as far as the England Beach Soccer team are concerned.
They have again chosen Poole to be their home for training this year.
The squad will take part in a series of full scale international standard matches on Sundays March 4 and 25 and April 15 and 19, before the team is selected.
Terry Bowes, England head coach said: “To have so many quality players at my disposal is not only important for the continued development of the team but also shows how far the sport has progressed.”
John Hawkins, chief executive of EBS said: “The facilities here are terrific for beach sports.”
The beach soccer goals are between Branksome Chine and Canford Cliffs. See the action between 11am and 4pm.
Clive Smith, head of leisure services said: “We are extremely excited to be continually involved with such an exciting sport.”
