SHOPPERS were evacuated from the Sovereign Centre in Boscombe this morning due to a fire.
A spokesperson from Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said an electrical sign from a shop had caught fire and shoppers at the premises were evacuated.
The sign which caught fire was above the 99p Stores.
Fire fighters from Springbourne were on the scene in two minutes and crews from Christchurch and Westbourne with the aerial ladder platform followed soon afterwards.
