COLLECTION POINT: Rubbish from Upton Wood
THIS “shocking” mountain of rubbish has been cleared from picturesque Upton Wood near Poole.
Members of the Keep Upton Tidy group joined forces with Purbeck District Council workers to tackle the trash, which had built up near houses.
Group secretary Fred Drane said: “We were happy to get involved to start clearing the rubbish that had accumulated.
“Unfortunately it looks like much of it was household rubbish which had been there for some time.”
Keep Upton Tidy meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 6pm, Turbary Court, Douglas Close, Upton, Poole.
