Bournemouth’s finest acoustic indie rockers Fearne continue to advance their flourishing reputation with a show at the Bournemouth Folk Club at Centre Stage this Sunday and then a high-profile appearance at the Bournemouth Folk Festival at the BIC later this month.
Based in Bournemouth and with a firm reputation around the south, this thoughtful quartet scooped an award at the 2011 Dorset Music Awards. Announced this week, Fearne are also set to appear at this year’s Larmer Tree Festival in July.
The band has toured with Athlete, Feeder, Nizlopi and are heavily tipped for big things by BBC Introducing as a “Folk/Pop band with a moral compass”.
Be sure to keep an ear out for Alex Nick, Adam and Darren this summer.
