AN ART display will light up Poole tonight and over the weekend.
Brilliance 2012 leads visitors on a trail of 24 illuminated art works each day from 6.30-8.30pm.
Tonight, there will also be live music, street entertainers, circus and balloon modelling workshops and more, from 7-9pm, to coincide with the Twin Sails celebrations nearby.
The trail begins at the New Orchard Cafe in Old Orchard, where Rachel Huggett and local people have created The Brilliance of Bees, and ends at The Shambles, on the Quay, with Sea by Joe Stevens.
Cllr Judy Butt, Poole council’s cabinet member for public engagement, arts and culture, said: “The amazing illuminated art trail does exactly what it says on the tin – it is 'Brilliance' come to life.
“The 24 artworks are unique, each forming a sparkling facet of the whole illuminated street performance. This has been a massive piece of work superbly executed by our arts development team.”
