THIS album first saw the light of day in August last year and has continued to dominate the top of the single and album download charts. The French DJ-turned-headline artist is now firmly established in the international limelight.
It’s this reputation that has landed a lengthy list of the pop elite that guest on the house producer’s double album, Nothing But The Beat. Rappers Flo Rida and Snoop Dogg, R&B royalty Usher, kooky diva Nicki Minaj and Black Eyed Peas’ Will.i.am make up a stellar line-up and bolster another strong body of dance/urban fusion.
Guetta has outclassed his peers and continues to add legions of fans with this album. On its initial release the Daily Echo described it as “watered down dance music for the masses”, but we didn’t predict how wildly successful this formula would be. We’re also sure that Monsieur Guetta’s bank manager is certainly not complaining.
