BOSSES of a Dorset-based recycling company face Crown Court trial after being charged by the Environment Agency.
Representatives from Commercial Recycling Limited, based at the Canford Recycling Centre in Magna Road, Wimborne, faced six charges at Bournemouth Crown Court.
The company is jointly charged with Northern Irish firm Greenway Polymers with transporting prohibited waste to Vietnam on or before June 6, 2010. It also faces five further charges.
The firm is accused of failing to complete consignment notes on or before the same date and failing to supply information to the Agency, by July 1 2010.
It also faces three charges related to the improper storage of waste and allowing unpermitted waste to be stored at its facility at Arena Way.
All charges are denied and will be the subject of a trial. It is expected the trial will last around a week.
Commercial Recycling is a waste disposal, waste management and recycling solutions company offering services to businesses and individuals.
