THE killer of Bournemouth mother Heather Barnett has been given the right to challenge his full-life jail sentence.
Danilo Restivo was told he would never be released from prison, after he was found guilty of murdering his Charminster neighbour Heather Barnett in 2002 and leaving strands of someone else’s hair in her hand.
He has also been convicted of murdering 16-year-old Elisa Claps in Potenza, Italy, in 1993 and was given a 30-year sentence for that killing.
He has been told he cannot appeal against his conviction but may challenge his full-life sentence.
