DETECTIVES investigating a stabbing at a Bournemouth nightclub have released a picture of a man they wish to speak to.
The assault, in which a 21-year-old Watford man was stabbed three times, happened at 4.05am on Sunday in the entrance foyer of Priva nightclub in Exeter Road.
The victim was stabbed twice in the stomach and once in the underside of his arm and remains in hospital receiving treatment for his injuries.
It is believed he and his friends may have been involved in an altercation with the offender earlier in the evening in the corridor next to the toilets in the club.
Detective Constable Jon Sainsbury, of Bournemouth CID, said: “I am now able to release the image of a man I am keen to speak with.
“The picture was taken in the nightclub on the night in question and I believe this man may hold vital information.
“I would urge this man and anyone who knows him to contact me.
“This was a serious assault and I would urge anyone with any information about the incident or the person responsible to contact me as soon as possible.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 11:105, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
