A TEAM of Wimborne schoolchildren with an eye for a good business plan have scooped three awards.
Queen Elizabeth’s School pupils Tom Callaghan, Faye Best, Mitchell Parris, Charlotte Jewell and Yeandry Barnett made more than £300 profit selling handmade pebble people at two events.
The group, named The Royal Family, pipped students from schools across the area to the Best Presentation and Most Innovative Product prizes at a ceremony at the Marriott Hotel, in Bourne-mouth, earlier this month.
And Mitchell Parris, 17, won the Student of the Year gong from more than 100 contestants.
Under the Enterprise Challenge, the students had to elect members of the board, raise finances and manufacture and sell products.
