THESE school-age legal eagles from The Arnewood School are now set to take the law into their own hands in a regional mock trial competition.
The budding barristers won the Southampton and New Forest heat of the competition, held at Winchester Crown Court recently.
A team of Year 9 students from the New Milton academy successfully outwitted young lawyers from five other schools in a mock trial presided over by The High Sheriff and judged by six magistrates sitting at the crown court.
Their test trial focused on the alleged handling of stolen goods..
Arnewood teacher, Dr Femi Adeniran, said: “The winning team was absolutely superb.”
