A SOLICITOR from Wimborne is looking forward to his 100km charity trek through the Sahara Desert – because he’ll be out of mobile phone range.
Nigel Taylor, 57, thinks the extreme heat is a fair price for escaping the outside world.
Mr Taylor, a partner for Ellis Jones Solicitors, said: “The thought of escaping the mobile for a week is just sheer bliss.
“I’m more than willing to put up with any deprivations if only for that reason.”
The dad-of-three hopes to raise more than £3,000 for Spreading Health, a Bournemouth charity that pays to train health professionals around the world.
He has been running, cycling and working out in the gym to train for the challenge, his fourth trek in 11 years.
