JUST in case anyone has missed the phenomenon that is American Boy, Estelle really makes a point of reminding us in the opening two songs - The Life and International (Serious) featuring Chris Brown and Trey Songz.
Her latest release, four years after 2008’s Shine is interspersed with anecdotes about love, friendship and education from family and friends.
All Of Me sees a more grown-up Estelle making this a more impressive album than the first.
Thank You is a beautifully crafted tune, and Wonderful Life an upbeat number you won’t be able to resist.
It’s good to hear the London-born singer get her rapping game on in Speak Ya Mind, which samples the melody of Adina Howard’s Freak Like Me, and Do My Thing with Janelle Monae is a fun closing number.
