Youngsters will have the chance to try dinghy sailing, kayaking, windsurfing and other watersports free when Rockley launches its season at Poole Park.

On Sunday March 25 from 11am to 3pm there will be opportunities to try out a host of watersports at Rockley’s fifth open day.

Since 2007 Rockley Watersports, based at Hamworthy, has provided more than 20,000 activity sessions to Dorset-based schoolchildren.

“We are thrilled to be able to host our fifth open day at Poole Park so that local people can try out the watersports that we offer,” said Rockley Watersports managing director, Peter Gordon.

“In 2011 more than 400 people gave it a go.”
