TWO pet rabbits have been found dead in a Poole back garden – and experts say they were killed by humans.

The bunnies were discovered by their shocked owner in the enclosed run at Gloucester Road in Branksome.

“The vet believes the rabbits have not been killed by a fox or dog but by a person,” said PC Steve Hawke.

“I would urge anyone who has any information about those responsible to contact police as soon as possible.”

The two Branksome rabbits were discovered last Tuesday and police have not said how they were killed.

PC Hawke said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who saw any suspicious activity along Gloucester Road.”
