A WOMAN was punched in the face by a motorcyclist in a horrific road rage attack, police say.
The woman was driving a red Citroen Picasso along Penn Hill Avenue last Thursday when a motorcycle pulled alongside her.
PC Benjamin McSorley, of Poole police, said: “I believe the motorcycle was very close and may have made light contact with the wing mirror of the car.
“Words were exchanged and the motorcyclist then punched the female driver through the open car window.”
The motorcyclist was wearing dark clothing. No vehicle registration is available.
The incident took place at 6.30pm on Thursday 15 March.
PC McSorley continued: “I am appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident to contact police as soon as possible.”
