SHOPPERS at Poole’s Dolphin Centre enjoyed a treasure trail and face painting during a fundraising event for Dorset Search Dogs.
The Messy Paws event was organised by five second-year BS (Hons) Events Management students from Bournemouth University as part of their course and raised in excess of £450 for the charity.
James Bailey, event co-ordinator, said the students chose to support Dorset Search Dogs after watching the dogs in action at one of their training sessions.
He said: “The fact the team give up their time to help others in need is a valuable asset to the community.
“The support received from local attractions and shops for our fundraising event has been amazing and we could not have done it without them.”
