POLICE are still appealing for witnesses to the A31 accident that claimed the life of Dorset dad and motorbike enthusiast David Bartholomew.
Crash investigators want to speak to anyone who saw the collision between the Honda CBF 1000 motorcycle he was riding and a silver Peugeot 206.
David, 54, was travelling from Canford Bottom roundabout on Tuesday morning when the incident happened.
A 22-year-woman driving the car, which came from Uddens Drive, was shocked but otherwise unhurt.
An off duty policeman managed to resuscitate David, from Bere Regis, but he later died at Poole Hospital.
Friends and family have been leaving tributes at the scene and online.
Stacey Buckley wrote on the Daily Echo site: “I’d just like to say what a wonderful, kind and special person he was.”
Anyone who saw either vehicle prior to the crash should contact Dorset Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
