POLICE have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a head-on crash which left a 48-year-old motorcyclist fighting for his life.
The Poole man was airlifted to Dorset County Hospital after his custom-style bike was in collision with a blue Subaru Forester a mile outside Blandford St Mary.
The accident took place on the A350 near Charlton Marshall on Wednesday as the man headed away from Blandford.
The 64-year-old female driver of the Subaru is helping police with their inquiries.
Officers have appealed for witnesses to the crash, or anyone who saw the vehicles before the accident, to contact them.
