POLICE investigating an accident which left a 21-year-old woman fighting for her life and 17-year-old boy seriously injured have appealed for the public’s help.
The collision happened at 3.50am on Sunday on Charminster Road in Bournemouth when a Ford Focus travelling from Cemetery Junction towards Throop was in collision with two pedestrians.
Sergeant Joe Pardey said: “I would like to talk to occupants from two specific vehicles that were near the scene. One of the vehicles is an older style BMW convertible which was behind the collision vehicle. The other car is a dark coloured Peugeot which arrived at the scene behind the first police vehicle.”
The driver of the Ford Focus, a 22-year-old Bournemouth man, was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and released on bail pending further enquiries.
