A NEW group launched in East Dorset aims to teach people the mental skills they need to cope with day to day life.
The Steps to Wellbeing service started last month in Wimborne and involves eight 90-minute sessions based on cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT).
Participants in the Living Life to the Full group will be taught how to deal with their feelings when fed up or worried.
Angela Mason, psychological wellbeing practitioner told the Echo: “An event, feeling, behaviour or physical symptom can start a chain reaction that gets us down. In these sessions we’ll reverse the process and use this interconnection to rebuild happiness.
To join, speak to one of the practitioners on 01202 843400.
