PUPILS from a Bournemouth school joined forces with AFC Bournemouth and the council to clean-up their neighbourhood.
More than 30 children from Heathlands primary school in West Howe took part in the Green Goals litter pick.
The council’s waste and res-ource officer Sarah Speakman- Jones said: “It’s great to see local children working to tackle litter.
“They did a fantastic job in demonstrating how local organisations and groups can work together to make a real difference and keep our streets clean and safe.”
Sarah Dunn, headteacher of Heathlands primary school, said: “Our children were delighted to take part in this event; they take great pride in their environment.”
